Our energy-management process begins with an historical bill verification of energy bills. Understanding the history behind each meter enables us to develop a normalized baseline of energy usage and consumption patterns.
Next, to effectively manage energy price risk, we work closely with clients to understand their budget parameters and risk tolerance. Our risk-management team utilizes sophisticated techniques and their own industry experience to create a range of budget scenarios. The goal is to optimize the relationship between demand, usage and price.
Then, we optimize tariffs and rates. In deregulated markets, we solicit bids from a variety of energy providers. In regulated markets, we aggressively negotiate contract terms and find the best-rate tariff.
Through demand optimization, we assist clients in “load shaping” by developing energy consumption options that manage demand by utilizing energy-consuming systems efficiently. By providing energy-management strategies, industry insight and real-time monitoring, we enable clients to make decisions about their energy demand based upon price in real time.
Finally, our Bill Verification service provides ongoing management of utility bills to assure that each provider is adhering to the contract terms.
