John D. Elder, III:  President and CEO. As President and CEO, John Elder is the guiding force behind LEGACY's strategic service offerings, business model and value proposition.

John established LEGACY in 2003 and has a proven track record of over twenty years as a business leader who has successfully launched companies in a variety of industries. This experience has provided him with the insight to recognize the challenges businesses face when trying to manage their energy costs.

In founding LEGACY, John saw the opportunity to provide businesses of all sizes with total energy management solutions utilizing the technology and expertise previously reserved for only the largest companies. Committed to building a company of the highest ethical standards that could deliver on this promise, John aggressively recruited a management team that brought a wealth of industry experience and shared a set of common values.

Recognized as an expert in the energy field, John is a frequent conference speaker and is often asked to provide energy market commentary. He has been published in Disaster Recovery Journal, featured in Inc. Magazine and the Houston Business Journal, and quoted in Entrepreneur Magazine, the Houston Chronicle as well as other industry publications. John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

Dennis Vegas: Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer. Dennis Vegas is a dynamic, results-driven executive with extensive knowledge in setting the vision and strategies and driving growth for brands in the Energy, Telecommunications and Hospitality industries.

Dennis has spent more than 20 years creating and leading world class marketing and communications organizations in the U.S. and international markets for Enron Corp., AT&T and ITT. During his career, he has held leadership positions in Strategic Planning; Brand Management; Advertising; Public & Media Relations; Direct Marketing; CRM and Stakeholder & Community Relations.

Dennis has been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal, The BBC, CNN, invited on National Public Radio and quoted in numerous publications. He is often invited to speak at marketing and advertising programs. He holds a BS from Springfield College and an MA in Human Relations from American International College.
